    Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon landing at Entebbe International Airport, you are welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy views of Lake Victoria, explore craft markets, or relax as you prepare for the safari ahead. The evening is calm with the fresh lake breeze setting the tone for your Ugandan adventure.

Day 2: Entebbe to Ziwa & Murchison Falls National Park

Your journey begins with a drive toward northern Uganda. The first stop is Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you trek on foot to see southern white rhinos—an intimate introduction to Uganda’s conservation successes. After lunch, you continue to Murchison Falls National Park, entering a landscape of vast savannah, winding rivers, and distant palm trees. You arrive at your lodge for sunset overlooking the Nile.

Day 3: Game Drive & Nile River Boat Safari

At sunrise, you explore Murchison’s northern savannah—home to elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and graceful Jackson’s hartebeest. The vast plains glow in golden light as wildlife stirs. In the afternoon, you enjoy a breathtaking boat safari up the Nile toward the base of Murchison Falls, where the river explodes through a narrow 7-metre gap with dramatic force. The riverbanks teem with hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and birds.

Day 4: Top of the Falls Visit & Transfer to Kibale Forest

Before leaving Murchison, you visit the top of the falls to witness the raw power of the Nile as it thunders through the rock gorge. Afterwards, you begin the scenic journey south through rolling countryside, tea plantations, and crater lakes until you reach Kibale Forest National Park, Africa’s premier primate destination. Evening at leisure at a lodge nestled in the forest.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary

Morning brings your first primate experience with a chimpanzee trek in Kibale Forest. The forest echoes with chimp calls as you track and observe them swinging, feeding, and socialising. After lunch, you visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run project rich in birds, monkeys, and papyrus scenery. The day ends with peaceful views of the forest canopy.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Crater Drive

After breakfast, you travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing volcanic crater lakes and breathtaking views of the Rwenzori Mountains. Upon arrival, you enjoy a scenic crater drive or an afternoon game drive across the Kasenyi plains where lions, elephants, Uganda kob, and warthogs roam freely. Evening at your lodge with views over the savannah or Kazinga plains.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

The day begins with a sunrise game drive, perfect for spotting lions, hyenas, antelopes, elephants, and buffaloes. In the afternoon, you embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, one of the most wildlife-rich waterways in Africa. Massive hippo pods, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and countless birds line the banks, offering superb photography and close wildlife encounters.

Day 8: Ishasha Sector & Transfer to Bwindi

After breakfast, you drive through the remote Ishasha Sector, famed for its rare tree-climbing lions. With luck, you may find them perched in fig trees overlooking the plains. The journey continues through rolling hills and terraced landscapes as you descend into the forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Evening at your lodge in the misty highlands.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

This is the highlight of your safari—gorilla trekking. After a morning briefing, you trek deep into Bwindi’s thick forest to meet your gorilla family. The encounter is powerful and emotional as you observe their behaviour, watch infants play, and feel the peaceful presence of the silverback. After trekking, you drive to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most beautiful and tranquil lakes, where you unwind with views of terraced hills and calm blue waters.

    Day 10: Return to Entebbe

After a relaxed lakeside morning, you begin your journey back to Entebbe through scenic highlands and lush countryside.
