Detailed travel plan.

Day 1: Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Bwindi Forest national park.

Following your 3 days Uganda gorilla trekking tour,  Muhiga  safaris safari guide will pick up from your hotel or residence and you will embark on a drive to Bwindi forest national park. The drive will take about 8-10 hours on road. You will drive though the Kampala Masaka highway with your first stop over being at the equator in Kayabwe for photos and stretch, you will also be able to  do the water experiment that affirms the difference between the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere.  Later proceed with your drive southwards to Bwindi with another stopover in Mbarara town where you will have lunch.

Continue to south as you will be greeted with the beauty of kigezi islands which is aclear sign that you are closing in to Bwindi. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge where you will have dinner an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Batwa cultural experience.

In the morning after breakfast, you will guide will pick you from the lodge and transfer you to the park heads quarters, while at the park headquarters where you will have to be briefed on the procedures regarding gorilla trekking and be assigned a gorilla family to trek from.  Be guided with arranger and you will ascend in the jungles searching for the gorillas.  The hike in the jungle is thrilling one as you will encounter other primates and bird’s species alongside multiple indigenous tree species. As you transcend jungle you will start hearing sounds of breaking shoots which is a clear sign of gorillas, upon meeting them, you will be filled with pure excitement hence forgetting the hustle you could have gone through to hike in process of meeting them.  Take as many photos as you can a clear reminder of your experience.   Note that you are allowed to spend only 1 hour with the gorillas, later after tracking descend the park headquarters where you will be awarded certificates.  Exit and head back to your lodge for lunch.

Later in the afternoon, you will head for the Batwa cultural experience, you will get acquitted with how they go about their lives.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3:  Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

On the last day, you will wake to a relaxed breakfast and later you will check out , you will embark on a drive to queen Elizabeth national park, you can pass via ishasha popular for the tree climbing lions, you will  proceed to queen Elizabeth national park via the lush countryside. Upon arrival you will check in at your lodge for relaxation or you will opt to do an evening game drive.

Day 4: Game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel .  .

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will hop into the vehicles and head out for a game drive in the park in search for wildlife, you will be on the look out for wildlife such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs, water bucks, Uganda Kobs . later after the boat cruise you will head back to your lodge for lunch. later after lunch you will you will transfer to the docking place to catch the boat  on kazinga channel.   The channel offers scenic views coupled with abundance of wildlife and birds species. You will be on the look out for crocodiles, hippos, several birds species, you will also see several other wildlife and birds species on the shores.

Exit the boat cruise and head back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala

Early in the morning, you will have breakfast  with a reminder of your  exit. Later you will check out and transfer to Kampala, the drive will be approximately 6- 7 hours with a lunch stopover. Upon arrival you will be dropped off at place of choice or at the airport for  your  flight to your next destination  bringing an end to your  5 Days uganda  gorilla and wildlife  with Muhiga safaris
