Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Bwindi Forest national park in Uganda.
Following your 3 Days Uganda gorilla trekking from Kigali, Muhiga safaris ltd guide will pick you from Kigali either from the airport or your accommodation. if time allows you will do a Kigali city tour visiting places such as the Kigali genocide memorial. Later you will exit Kigali and embark on a drive to Uganda through the Katuna boarder. Upon arrival at the border, you will finish with the relevant crossing procedures and make your way to the Uganda and drive to Bwindi, arrive and check in at your safari lodge where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and transfer to lake Bunyonyi
Early in the morning after breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from accommodation and transfer you to the park headquarters where you will be briefed on the rules involved In gorilla trekking. You will later be a signed a gorilla family to track from. Later you will hike into the jungles in search for the gorillas. The hike is a thrilling one as you come across of primates and bird’s species in the jungles. As you will transcend into the forest, you will begin hearing sounds of tree shoots being broken which is a vivid sign of gorillas. Upon meeting, you will let go all the hustles you may have gone through to be able to get to them, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour interacting with the gorillas taking as many photos as you can. Later head back to the park headquarters and reunite with your guide and transfer to the lodge for lunch.
After your lunch you will pack your bags and embark on a transfer to lake Bunyonyi, upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel where you will relax , have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Boat cruise on lake Bunyonyi and transfer to Kigali
On the last day of your 3 days Uganda gorilla trekking from Kigali trip, you will get up in the morning, have breakfasts and later head for a boat cruise on lake Bunyonyi, you will have views of multiple islands on the lake as you enjoy the cruise, you will meet birds. later you will return to the lodge check out and transfer to Kigali. You will be dropped off at the airport or any place of your choice.
