The day begins early with a drive to the park headquarters for your trekking briefing. Here, rangers explain etiquette, assign trekking groups, and share insights about gorilla families. Soon after, you begin your journey into the forest, walking through bamboo vegetation, thick undergrowth, and high-altitude terrain. The trek builds anticipation with every step until you finally encounter your gorilla family.

Later, you begin your drive back to Kigali, retracing the beautiful countryside and terraced hillsides.
