3 Day Rwanda gorilla trekking safari
This Uganda 3 days Rwanda gorilla trekking safari will see you in volcanoes national park Rwanda best kept secret and famous for gorilla trekking. You will get to trek the endangered gorillas in their natural habitat , the safari start with the visit of Kigali city one of Africa’s cleanest and organized city, the trip will start and end in Kigali.
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali , do a city tour and transfer to Volcanoes National park.
Day 2: gorilla trekking and visit to Ibyiwacu cultural center.
Day 3: Transfer to Kigali.
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali, do Kigali city tour and transfer to Volcanoes National park.
Following you Rwanda safaris your Muhiga safaris guide will pick up from your hotel and you will embark on a Kigali city tour visiting the Kigali memorial site and local craft markets. Later embark on a drive to volcanoes national park. Upon arrival you will head straight to your lodge, check in , you will have dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in volcanoes national park and ibyiwacu cultural center.
In the morning your tour guide will pick you from your accommodation after breakfast and you will head to the tracking area. While there you will grab a cup of coffee while you wait for the briefing about gorilla trekking tracking. Be a signed a gorilla family and to track from and a ranger to take you in the jungles searching for the gorillas, note that the time you take to find the gorilla family you have been assigned to track from is dependent on the mobility of the group, as you head in the jungles you will start hearing sounds of breaking tree shoots a clear sign of the gorillas. Upon meeting them you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with them as they take pictures and observe them. Later descend back to the park headquarters where you will where you will reunite with your guide and be transferred back to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Later in the afternoon you will head out to Ibyiwacu cultural village, where you will experience the beauty of Rwanda culture In a demonstration of how the locals dressed, conducted marriage ceremony, house construction , hunting among others enjoy the experience taking as many photos as you can. later return to the lodge where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Kigali .
On your last day , you will opt to pass Hellen DeGeneres museum where you will see some works of Dian fossey and her gorilla conservation work. Later embark on a drive to Kigali upon arrival you will be dropped off at your place of choice or at the airport for your flight home.
