Day 1: Pick from Kigali and transfer to Bwindi forest national park in uganda.
On your 1st day the trip, you will be picked up by Muhiga safari guide, who will brief you on your trip details, you can opt for a Kigali city tour to check out the Kigali genocide memorial. Later you will will embark on a drive to Bwindi Forest national park in Uganda though the lush countryside. Arrive at the boarder and cross over Uganda, proceed to Bwindi upon arrival you will check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and transfer to Kigali
Early in the morning you will have breakfast and later your be driven by your guide to the park headquarters, be briefed on the dos and don’ts regarding gorilla trekking, be assigned a gorilla family to track from. Later proceed to the jungles in search for the gentle giants (the mountain gorillas). The hike can be a tough sometimes but so worth it, you may also encounter other wildlife such as monkeys, birds and others. The forest is thick as you the ranger will be cutting some undergrowth as you head deep in the jungles. Upon getting close to the gorillas, you will start get the sound of the breaking the tree shoots while feeding. Interact with them for 1 hour taking photos, and finding out how they go about their lives.
