Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe or Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

The adventure begins with an early drive across the lush central region and into western Uganda, passing through landscapes filled with tea estates, craters, and rolling hills. As you approach Queen Elizabeth National Park, the scenery opens into wide plains dotted with acacia trees and herds of antelopes. Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel

Dawn brings the park to life, and your morning game drive follows the Kasenyi plains where predators and grazers often converge. Lions may be seen stalking kob, elephants graze in family units, and buffaloes move in impressive herds across the open savannah. After lunch, the afternoon unfolds with a relaxing boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, one of Africa’s richest wildlife corridors. Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi via the Ishasha Sector

The journey continues southward into the remote Ishasha sector, a region famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. As you navigate through the fig-tree dotted landscape, you may spot these big cats lounging in branches, surveying the plains below. After this unique sighting, the road leads deeper into the highlands, where the forests become thicker and the air cooler. By late afternoon you arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a sanctuary of misty mountains, rich biodiversity, and the world’s largest remaining population of mountain gorillas. The evening offers rest and preparation for the next day’s unforgettable trek.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

With morning mist drifting through the forest canopy, the day begins at the park headquarters for a detailed briefing. Soon after, rangers guide you into the dense rainforest where ferns, vines, and towering trees create an atmosphere both ancient and alive. Tracking the gorillas is an adventure itself, filled with anticipation and wonder. When you finally encounter the family, the moment becomes almost surreal. Day 5: Return to Kampala or Entebbe

As you arrive back in Kampala or Entebbe, the safari concludes with memories of gorillas among ancient trees, elephants beside glittering waterways, and the unmatched beauty of Uganda’s wilderness.
